It’s Okay to Feel Stuck.

So, you’re feeling stuck right now; you hate your work and you wish you were better like your friend or like that one artist you love. You’re sitting there thinking “Oh my gosh, why did I shoot this like I did?” or “Ugh why isn’t my editing light and beautiful like this person?” or “Why is this so hard?” . You’re in this constant loop of “Why am I not good enough?” right now. But, you know what?

It’s okay to feel stuck.

Feeling stuck is sticky – very sticky in fact. You feel like you’re never going to improve but, in reality you will. This moment of stickiness won’t last long – it’s going to inspire you.

How will this feeling inspire me? How is this good?

You’re going to push yourself, you’re going to want to improve and improve fast. You’re going to want to get out of that stickiness as soon as you possibly can. Research how to fix the problem, find the answer to your questions, make something new. It’s hard to not compare ourselves to our successful friends or the people we look up to but, there is only one you. That one you that people love to work with, that one you that people love your style – your work.

If all else fails and you still feel stuck, look back. See who you were when you started this journey. You used to think you were stuck back then too, that you’ll never improve, or have that look that you’re dying to achieve. You thought that then but look where you are now. You can do absolutely anything, so get out there and work it. ❤

Stay Inspired & Keep On Dreaming.
